What makes Graze & Roam Ranch meat "premium"?
Among the many definitions offered by Merriam-Webster for the word premium, the one that fits our meat is "of exceptional quality".
The exceptional quality of Graze & Roam Ranch meat is a result of following three main principles;
1) Every one of our animals deserve to be free of stress, as much as possible, and every day they have everything they need to thrive and nothing that takes away from their comfort.
2) We DO NOT use chemicals on our pastures, nor do we give antibiotics, growth hormones, or GMO feed to our animals destined for your plate. We treat sick or injured animals as needed, but an animal that has received medicine or a vaccine will NEVER enter our food system.
3) We grow our animals until they are of an age that guarantees they will the highest quality meat possible. For example, we process our beef at 30-36 months old, whereas most beef you can buy will be processed at 12-24 months.

Know Your Rancher, Trust Your Food.™
We specialize in ranch-raised, dry-aged, grass-fed & finished British White beef and pastured chicken.
Our premium beef is dry-aged for 14 days and seasonally available in very limited quantities.
Graze & Roam Ranch is a regenerative animal-based ranch in the heart of Western Montana's Bitterroot Valley.
We strive to produce the highest quality beef and chicken you can buy locally while improving the land with each passing season.
British White cattle are known as "self-marbling" on an exclusive grass diet. This means they do not require grain or other types of feed to "finish" in order to achieve the tenderness, mouth-watering rich texture, and flavor that is so widely sought after by beef lovers. It takes us a minimum of 2 1/2 years to grow a truly grass-finished steer. Taste the end product, and you'll agree that our long-term care, work, time, and money investments in our animals have produced the best beef you've ever purchased.
Our cattle are provided with personal care, chemical-free pastures and hay, fresh Bitterroot Mountain water, required minerals, and lots of room to graze and roam. In winter, the herd is fed tons and tons of locally-grown organic grass hay. By raising animals in these ways, our family-run operation exceeds certified organic and certified animal welfare standards.
The meats we sell are seasonally available and sell out fast! Sign up for our newsletter below to be the first to take advantage of pre-order opportunities, so you won't miss out on our very limited quantities.

One of our goals for Graze & Roam Ranch is to make you feel good about choosing our products for the many benefits they provide to your body, our community, and the land we steward for the next generation.

Janis (Joplin)
Janis was the first calf born on the ranch back in 2021. She quickly rose to become the official brand influencer. Along with her daughter, McGee, they'll take a little piece of your heart. See what we did there?

Aengus & Luke
This dynamic livestock guardian dog duo stays busy getting loved on by ranch guests, patrolling the pastures day and night, running off pesky predators, and making sure that all weak spots in the fence are identified.

Miss Brenna
Brenna is the calf-whispering visionary, creative mind, brand steward, and cow doula of the ranch. She also pounds a mean fence staple, makes amazing berry crumble, and can shovel manure with the best of them.

Mr. Joe
Joe stays busy giving cattle counseling sessions and goofing off with the ATV and tractor. He also enjoys therapeutic fence repair, losing expensive hand tools, and generally acting like a bearded 13-year-old boy.
